How to Heal and Grow from Triggers

Why do we get triggered?  

Triggers are unhealed wounds that remind us of things that may have happened before and possibly touches a negative belief we have about ourselves.

How do we move through and grow from these triggers?

First, we allow ourselves to feel it and then take a deep breath and just pause.

Then we want to just NOTICE and OBSERVE what comes up, these will feel really uncomfortable but just continue breathing.

We then want to work with the subconscious and use affirmations such as: 

I am thankful for these emotions and what they can show and teach me.

Approach these emotions with curiosity and watch as you form a new relationship with these emotions and they become a form of information and feedback for you to let you know what is happening and how to respond to them.

When you are ready then you RELEASE and continue to move forward.
